August 1st, 2009Poem, UncategorizedI have got a little bit of time to rest this weekend while preparing to teach grad students on Communication Theory this Sunday. On the occasion to convey message to Mrs.Corazon C. Aquino to rest in peace today. I saw some of my Filipino friends expressed lot of good feelings about her, this link is also posted on one of my friends’s facebook.
Corazon C. Aquino: ‘All of us Filipinos have to make sacrifices’

Moreover, it reminds me of love album I really liked since I was university student at the Faculty of Communication Arts, Chilalongkorn University. This love-songs album sung by Jose Mari Chan and friends. Remember that while we’re doing activities at the ‘Tai-Tun-Kana’, Faculty’s campus area for students more than a decade ago, this album was played from the student committees’ room via speaker. It was really nice moment.
The relevant song for today is “I have fallen in love” (With the same woman three times), which the lyrics came from the poem written by Benigno”Ninoy” Aquino, Jr. for Cory at Fort Bonifacio on October 11, 1973 for their 19th wedding anniversary. Set to music by Jose Mari Chan. A love story of the couple who share faith, ambition and conviction is always inspiring me. I love when the man and woman love and respect each other for their hearts, brains and spiritual minds.
Not that easy for such determined, confident and faithful couple to remain a romantic life together.
This is such a nice poem and song.

But another 3 songs I truly like the most from this album are;
1. Constant change
2. Beautiful girl
3. Please be careful with my heart
especially the last one.

Jose Mari Chan’s songs are so sweet and romantic.
We realize that the Filipinos sing a very good song. They’re very romantic and sweet I think.
I still kept the CDs which asked friends to buy it from the Philippines and play it often.
Every time feeling blue, listening to his music helps me happier.

Women have strengths that amaze men.
They bear hardships and they carry burdens,
but they hold happiness, love and joy.
They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy
and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up to injustice.
They don’t take “no” for an answer when they believe there is a better solution.
They go without so their family can have.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about a birth or a wedding.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss ! of a family member, yet they are strong when they
think there is no strength left. They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
They’ll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you
to show how much they care about you.
The heart of a woman is what
makes the world keep turning.
They bring joy, hope and love.
They have compassion and ideas.
They give moral support to their
family and friends.
Women have vital things to say
and everything to give.
HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,
IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.
Happy Woman’s day!!!8 March 2009
